OUR STORY

At Mahre Contracting, building isn’t just a trade, it’s a calling

My journey began when my wife and I built our first home through a sweat-equity program, where I volunteered 30 hours a week while still working full-time. Some weeks I’d take vacation days just to put in the hours. It was in those long days on the job site swinging hammers, solving problems, and watching a house come to life, that I realized this is exactly what I was meant to do.

I’ve always loved working with my hands, but what drives me even more is problem-solving and bringing ideas to reality.

From those early days, I learned the importance of craftsmanship, communication, and integrity. I won’t leave a project until it’s done right. Not just to my standards, but until my clients are truly thrilled.

Over the years, I’ve built Mahre Contracting from the ground up, combining skill, dedication, and a deep love for this community.

A winding dirt trail runs through open grassy fields with bushes and trees, leading toward rolling hills and mountains under a partly cloudy blue sky.

As a local Sonoma County native, my name means more to me than any dollar amount.

Each project is not just another job, it’s a chance to serve our neighbors, strengthen their trust, and create something that lasts.

At the end of the day, our mission is simple: to deliver work that’s built to stand the test of time, while treating every client like family.
